First day of Preschool
Audrey started Preschool again today! She was super excited and wanted to walk up to the front door all by herself. I told her I was going to take some pictures and she asked if I would go outside afterwards and let her go back in by herself.
She is so happy to be back at school!
First day of School!
I can't believe but another school year is here! Charlie is in 3rd grade and Annie is in First grade this year. It is super exciting for us this year because the kids have a brand new school to attend. We have watched the school being built for the last 18 months and it is amazing!!! There is a giant 2 story building for all the class rooms, a multipurpose room, library & computer lab and much more. You may think that is funny for me to say some of these things but the old school had a portable for a cafeteria and the original buildings were old and the majority of them were old portables.
Annie's teacher is Mrs. Tuvell and Charlie has Mrs. Fruit & Mrs. Vine. They all seem super nice and we are looking forward to a great year!

Fun at the lake
Friday night we had a bbq at the lake with some friends, it was the perfect weather and we had the lake/beach area almost all to ourselves. I have felt so blessed all summer that I get to live where we do and that we have such great friends to be with. We have spent one to two days a week at the lake all summer. We get there mid morning and just stay all day. Charlie fishes, Annie swims to and from the swimming dock and Audrey plays in the sand and Emily sits on a blanket with me and hangs out.
That night as we were driving home, Annie said to me "mom, that was so much fun can we do that again tomorrow!"

8 Months
I truly don't know where time has gone! Emily is 8 months old today!!!
On Sunday we were at the table and John was looking at Emily and said she has a tooth, then a second later, well maybe it is a cheerio. I said no she doesn't have any teeth yet (nursing her you would think I would know). Then yesterday (Monday) I stuck my finger in her mouth and she has a full on tooth cut through!
