We are having a very low key spring break this week. This last weekend John & Charlie spent the day at the Sacramento Air Show and had a great time - I am not sure who like seeing the planes more. Charlie loved seeing the Blue Angels and he loved getting to go inside all the planes they had on display at the event. He even has been saying he wants to fly planes when he grows up (I don't think it could be a genetic thing could it?)
That was the great start to our week, then on Sunday I started to get a sore throat. By Monday morning I was so sick I could hardly move. It turns out I came down with Strep Throat. You have to love being in our house lately. The kids were so great on Monday. I layed in bed all morning and they just played quietly and Audrey took a nap with me. I went to the Dr that afternoon for a throat culture and to get some medicine. John took care of the kids the rest of the afternoon and evening and I got to rest. On Tuesday my sister Courtney came over and entertained the kids for me all day so I could rest. While I wasn't feeling great it was so weird to just be laying in my bed for the day. By last night I was feeling 100 times better than I had on Monday so I got up and have been getting back in the swing of things. While my throat is still sore I think I caught it early enough that the worst is over.
Tomorrow the kids and I don't have anything planned. We may go grocery shopping considering we are out of most things then on Friday John & I are going to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary!!!!
We have a sitter for the night and are going out to dinner and away for the night. It will be such a treat.

Justin's parents are taking Zachary to San Diego Monday & Tuesday of next week and Justin is just about beside himself at the thought of going out on a grown up date!
