Sweet Sister

Charlie is sick AGAIN. I am not sure what it is but we are waiting the results of a strep test right now. Really I think it is just the revolving plague at our house. So today I bought new tooth brushes and a big stack of paper plates, bowls and cups. I am going to get rid of it once and for all.

This afternoon while Charlie was laying in the recliner watching cartoons he fell asleep. I was in the kitchen getting Audrey and drink and I look up and there is Annie getting a blanket out of the closet and then she walked over and covered Charlie up. I went to help and she says to me "Mommy, I am worried about Charlie, I hope he doesn't feel too bad.". I was struck by how sweet my little girl is and how compassionate she is to her family, especially when we are sick or in pain.

Annie has a very sweet little personality and she is very thoughtful when it comes to people in distress. Last week I was at a friends house with the girls and their dog was very, very sick and old. Annie came in crying because she was worried about Emma and wanted to know if there was anything that could make her better. Emma had to be put down the following day and when Annie found out about it at preschool the following week she cried. John and I have often said she would make a great Doctor, nurse or Veterinarian (she LOVES animals.)
